Four reasons to not be a psychic reader on www.KEEN.com in 2024

 4 Reasons Why You Should Not Be A Reader at KEEN.COM (2024) From a Former Advisor

1. They purposefully are not paying advisors on time. (And for some, at all!)

Advisors are repetitively not getting paid on time, to the point where some have even gone homeless. Their payment processor is faulty, much like their website however they refuse to fix the payment problems and they continuously ignore advisors who are not being paid on time. Direct deposits are consistently late and daily direct deposits are sometimes not even pulled out of the account from the advisor to their bank for several days on end.

There are several overseas advisors who reported going up to 3 months worth of time without getting paid - and some have reported being told that their paper checks were somehow "lost" in the mail and needed to be reissued but they would have to wait an additional month to process it. This is the number one out of the 4 reasons you should not be a reader on keen but also why so many advisors are leaving!

***When Advisors complain about not being paid on time, their listings suddenly need to be "validated" and advisors were removed from the site, and not paid any of the funds they made prior. KEEN doesn't have to give you any valid reason for why they remove you per their rules 3A and 3B.

2. They are charging advisors more money than ever before. 

They are charging advisors ( originally free, then it led to a $75 fee, and now they are charging $100) every single time they wish to participate in any sort of promotional.

The promotional period allows an advisor to lower their rate for their clients, easing the cost for their loyal clients, and yet in order to lower their rate to do so they must pay $100 every time. Originally keen was charging $75 for this event however they have since sent out calendars notifying advisors of when they would run a promotional period, and when they would be able to participate. They have since run four promotional in one month, and if you are an advisor you could end up paying up to $400 that month just to take part in these things. 

They promised advisors the opportunity to make more money, however at the end of the day they end up paying anywhere from $75 to $100 multiple times per week and discounted their original rate on top of it. Many advisors reported that their listings were Inflated in the actual rate per minute, and then they were shown a discounted rate to the consumer, when in fact that was never the cost itself. ( For example an advisor would charge $3.99 per minute for a consumer to connect with them, KEEN would then add on an additional 20% to 25% on top of their original rate, and then make it appear as if it was being discounted to the consumer. They did this while also taking their percentage, leaving an inflated and fake number for the consumer to "feel" like they got a deal. 

3. They are purposefully pushing out older advisors.

With the new investors and new management, came an announcement that they would be increasing the amount that they take from advisors from 60% up to 75% of what an Advisor makes. They announced that they would only do this for new advisors who signed up, and that they would keep the amount the same for older advisors who have been on the site for a while. As people began to voice their concerns about this, suddenly they had "no clients", they had listing issues and their listings would be pulled for "review", and some were just completely closed all together with no explanation. This creates more room for them to take on new advisors who are willing to accept them taking 75% of their pay. 

Although these are only 4 reasons you shouldn't be a reader at keen.com in 2024 , there are several more, and you deserve a place to showcase your gifts and make a difference with your clients, not to be used and abused by a company that has no respect for what you do as an intuitive reader.

4. They don't want real people anymore. They have been actively harvesting how advisors communicate with their clients, including their answer style, to build up an ai website. They are looking to push out the human element of a spiritual reading, in order to make more money. KEEN believes they can remove the advisor and feed a script to a website and AI feature, and then charge a client a monthly membership. For them, they believe it cuts cost and makes things easier. 

This is taken from their community forms prior to them shutting down the ability for advisors to talk to each other freely. They are purposefully harvesting how advisors communicate to clients, with the hope to duplicate it under an AI service that could be charged monthly to a client. Less overhead for them, less fees, and less dealing with people... 

How much does www.KEEN.com pay their psychics?

 Did you know that KEEN.com takes roughly 70%  of what an Advisor makes, on top of charging Advisors for featured listing fees, advertising fees, and even bank payout fees? They are also charging clients $2.99 every time they wish to connect to an Advisor. Whew, it's fees on top of fees over there!  

Check out what advisors were sharing with each other below before they removed the "community fourms" page from their site. 

(Big surprise here, they didn't want advisors communicating with each other about the late payments let alone the issues that they were having with the system, or even sharing with one another outside of the site that the problems within the site itself was actually systematic and preventing them from being able to work at all...)

Advisors were complaining to one another about how the cost of everything to simply offer their services and to help others was through the roof!

Advisors regularly were seeing payments pulled out and never deposited into their account on time, or at all for some.

But it is no secret that the true crime that is taking place over at KEEN, aside from the high fees, is that unfortunately they choose not to pay their advisors at all. There have been multiple reports of advisors who have been stripped of their account (absolutely locked out with no way to obtain their banking or financial details such as tax documents) who did not receive the pay of what was remaining in their account, of their earnings.

KEEN.com is looking to phase out psychic Advisors and instead go to a subscription based model that would allow for "less overhead" and "less of a cost" all around. They truly are looking to remove the human spirit and element from well... spiritual work. Don't believe me, check out below. 

It is interesting that right around this time that this publication went out, they began systematically removing older psychic Advisors and readers from KEEN.com and even doing sudden "checks" on identities and pushing even harder for the photo policy to be enforced. If you didn't comply, had questions, or made a "stink", you were stripped of access to your account and all your information - including tax related documents was gone in a blink of an eye.  They'll do anything to save money and deal with less of us Advisors.

Spirit brought this up loud and clear this evening as so many of you are actively in a position where you have to be of help and of present service to others, and although it is appreciated and seen (and greatly rewarded by God) you must also take care of yourself along the way. It becomes quite easy to forget that in order to serve and to help others, we must first be in a position of balance to give that time, that energy, that focus and that support to someone else. Today, spirit is encouraging you to take a bit of time out to tend to your own needs and to ensure that you are in a balanced position before helping someone else.

The two cards that came up are service and isolation. Today Spirit is encouraging you to know that your efforts to help, uplift and support someone else in need is greatly appreciated and recognized but that you must also place a priority on your mental and emotional wellbeing  along the way. Spirit is reminding you that burning yourself out is a very real possibility and that you can not take care of others if you do not take proper care of yourself. Today, you are being asked to give yourself permission to take better care of yourself and to foster that much needed time for yourself and your own needs. Remember, self-care and mental breaks are not at all selfish but rather a true honoring of ones self and will allow you to better help others in the long run.

As you go about your day, think of ways that you can incorporate more time for yourself. Be that a longer lunch break, maybe even treating yourself to a nice meal, or even taking a bit of time at the end of the day to recap and to be alone with your own thoughts; be that through stillness and through meditation or prayer, or even time to simply watch a movie that you have been meaning to watch and look forward to. Whatever you can do to replenish your own energy allows you the opportunity to be a better service to others and to give more to other individuals who need your support, your encouragement, and your time. It's important to know that it doesn't take much in order to replenish your own energy and to get yourself back to a place of balance, but it does take consistent practice and today is a great day to start that effort.

This is such a common question that is always asked by skeptics and by those that are firm believers in the Lord but are also scared about their salvation because of these pieces of plastic, and we find it so troubling that so many firm believers in Christ are afraid that their salvation as well as their relationship with the Lord is jeopardized just because of this. We are here to announce firmly and wholeheartedly that you will not lose your salvation over these pieces of plastic!

We have been asked this so many times over the years about whether or not the depictions that are on tarot cards, that are used on angel cards, oracle cards, etc are against God -  many times because people are afraid that they are going against God by looking at such images or choosing to use them in a way that might help them in terms of their gift of prophecy or even in the terms of being able to feel good about themselves because of the messages that come through, and the plain and honest answer is that it is not necessarily against God and it's not necessarily demonic, BUT ( and this is a very BIG BUT) you have to check your intention as well as your reason and your purpose behind even picking up these tools.

We always suggest that if you are using such a tool or such an item as a replacement for God and as a replacement for your relationship with Jesus, that you have inadvertently made them an idol and with that have fallen down a path that unfortunately can really create a codependence on what these pieces of paper and plastic say.  Looking at tarot cards, angel cards, oracle cards or anything else as a means to connect to God and to connect to messages that come through is not against the Lord, and is not against God, but it always comes down to your intention and where your heart is placed. 

If you are looking to use such a means as a way to figure out how to bring harm or hurt to someone, or even how to get ahead in a way that is unsavory and wrong ( like to scare someone, or to make quick cash) , there is no way that this would align with God. Much like if you were using it to purposely hurt someone here in this realm, by pretending to connect to somebody on the other side, that does not align with God either. 

But if you are using it to find out what God has to say to you, if you're using it as a way to decipher what messages you have been receiving or what messages you may have come across, or if you're using it in a way to double check the insight and the information you personally feel you have gotten from the Lord, there is nothing against that -  especially when it comes to the realm of prophesying and the gift of prophecy itself. 

The only thing that we can express to you if you are using tarot cards, oracle cards, or angel cards, is to check your motive and to check where your heart is as well as where your trust is placed, because although these tools can be used as a way to decipher and to gain clarity and to gain information that would otherwise not necessarily come through in other ways, but it is just that - a tool.

Here are some ways to know that you are using these tools unwisely...

If you're using it with such blind trust that you no longer trust in the Lord, you have missed the mark. 

If you're using it in such a way that you go to your cards first rather than prayer or affirmations, or even a conversation with the Lord, you have missed the mark. 

If you look at your cards as a way to become a version of God, you have missed the mark. 

It comes down to your intention, it comes down to where your heart is, and it comes down to the why behind why you are using such tools to begin with and if you really have any business doing so, specifically if you have a gift that you are actually harnessing and utilizing or if you are toying around and unfortunately falling into a pattern of dependency on them.

The final say...

You must always remember that these pieces of plastic, these pieces of wood and these tools themselves do not replace your relationship with your creator, and if you choose to idolize them in a way that pushes them as the source of everything for you and the source of all knowledge and the source of all guidance, you are using it for the wrong reasons and unfortunately are going down a very challenging and painful path - and that is what opens the door to things becoming demonic or even used in a way that is possibly evil.

There are several different scents and incenses that are mentioned in the Bible and were used throughout the time that Jesus was here; there is nothing unbiblical about using sage to clear a space especially when you are bringing in and inviting the presence of Jesus as well as God into that particular space or home - and there is nothing demonic or evil about these scents in general.

Think of it as you blessing a home, blessing someone, or even choosing to perform a prayer over someone, the sage itself is not the vessel that conducts the prayer or replaces God; it is just something that is used in addition and helps to connect to the Lord but also to create an environment that is friendly and open energetically for Him, but also so very clearly outlines your intention on what you are trying to do in that moment.

There is nothing that is against God by using sage much like there is nothing against God by using myrrh or frankincense!

Remember, the scent itself used in the action of blessing a home or saging a space and inviting the lord and for protection or peace, is not a replacement for God and your own independent relationship with Him, but it's also not an act against the Lord. If anything it is a beautiful request that you are leaning on him to complete that blessing and to be present as you are trying to clear a home, clear negative energy, or even to ask for protection.
