One of the most common signs to know of whether or not someone is a romantic soulmate connection is the often immediate and deep connection upon meeting, as if they have known each other for eternity and the deep need to further explore the connection intimately and vulnerably. Spirit brought this up loud and clear this evening as so many of you are actively in a position where you have to be of help and of present service to others, and although it is appreciated and seen (and greatly rewarded by God) you must also take care of yourself along the way. It becomes quite easy to forget that in order to serve and to help others, we must first be in a position of balance to give that time, that energy, that focus and that support to someone else. Today, spirit is encouraging you to take a bit of time out to tend to your own needs and to ensure that you are in a balanced position before helping someone else.

The two cards that came up are service and isolation. Today Spirit is encouraging you to know that your efforts to help, uplift and support someone else in need is greatly appreciated and recognized but that you must also place a priority on your mental and emotional wellbeing  along the way. Spirit is reminding you that burning yourself out is a very real possibility and that you can not take care of others if you do not take proper care of yourself. Today, you are being asked to give yourself permission to take better care of yourself and to foster that much needed time for yourself and your own needs. Remember, self-care and mental breaks are not at all selfish but rather a true honoring of ones self and will allow you to better help others in the long run.

This is such a common question that is always asked by skeptics and by those that are firm believers in the Lord but are also scared about their salvation because of these pieces of plastic, and we find it so troubling that so many firm believers in Christ are afraid that their salvation as well as their relationship with the Lord is jeopardized just because of this. We are here to announce firmly and wholeheartedly that you will not lose your salvation over these pieces of plastic!

We have been asked this so many times over the years about whether or not the depictions that are on tarot cards, that are used on angel cards, oracle cards, etc are against God -  many times because people are afraid that they are going against God by looking at such images or choosing to use them in a way that might help them in terms of their gift of prophecy or even in the terms of being able to feel good about themselves because of the messages that come through, and the plain and honest answer is that it is not necessarily against God and it's not necessarily demonic, BUT ( and this is a very BIG BUT) you have to check your intention as well as your reason and your purpose behind even picking up these tools.

We always suggest that if you are using such a tool or such an item as a replacement for God and as a replacement for your relationship with Jesus, that you have inadvertently made them an idol and with that have fallen down a path that unfortunately can really create a codependence on what these pieces of paper and plastic say.  Looking at tarot cards, angel cards, oracle cards or anything else as a means to connect to God and to connect to messages that come through is not against the Lord, and is not against God, but it always comes down to your intention and where your heart is placed. 

If you are looking to use such a means as a way to figure out how to bring harm or hurt to someone, or even how to get ahead in a way that is unsavory and wrong ( like to scare someone, or to make quick cash) , there is no way that this would align with God. Much like if you were using it to purposely hurt someone here in this realm, by pretending to connect to somebody on the other side, that does not align with God either. 

But if you are using it to find out what God has to say to you, if you're using it as a way to decipher what messages you have been receiving or what messages you may have come across, or if you're using it in a way to double check the insight and the information you personally feel you have gotten from the Lord, there is nothing against that -  especially when it comes to the realm of prophesying and the gift of prophecy itself. 

The only thing that we can express to you if you are using tarot cards, oracle cards, or angel cards, is to check your motive and to check where your heart is as well as where your trust is placed, because although these tools can be used as a way to decipher and to gain clarity and to gain information that would otherwise not necessarily come through in other ways, but it is just that - a tool.

Here are some ways to know that you are using these tools unwisely...

If you're using it with such blind trust that you no longer trust in the Lord, you have missed the mark. 

If you're using it in such a way that you go to your cards first rather than prayer or affirmations, or even a conversation with the Lord, you have missed the mark. 

If you look at your cards as a way to become a version of God, you have missed the mark. 

It comes down to your intention, it comes down to where your heart is, and it comes down to the why behind why you are using such tools to begin with and if you really have any business doing so, specifically if you have a gift that you are actually harnessing and utilizing or if you are toying around and unfortunately falling into a pattern of dependency on them.

The final say...

You must always remember that these pieces of plastic, these pieces of wood and these tools themselves do not replace your relationship with your creator, and if you choose to idolize them in a way that pushes them as the source of everything for you and the source of all knowledge and the source of all guidance, you are using it for the wrong reasons and unfortunately are going down a very challenging and painful path - and that is what opens the door to things becoming demonic or even used in a way that is possibly evil.

There are several different scents and incenses that are mentioned in the Bible and were used throughout the time that Jesus was here; there is nothing unbiblical about using sage to clear a space especially when you are bringing in and inviting the presence of Jesus as well as God into that particular space or home - and there is nothing demonic or evil about these scents in general.

Think of it as you blessing a home, blessing someone, or even choosing to perform a prayer over someone, the sage itself is not the vessel that conducts the prayer or replaces God; it is just something that is used in addition and helps to connect to the Lord but also to create an environment that is friendly and open energetically for Him, but also so very clearly outlines your intention on what you are trying to do in that moment.

There is nothing that is against God by using sage much like there is nothing against God by using myrrh or frankincense!

Remember, the scent itself used in the action of blessing a home or saging a space and inviting the lord and for protection or peace, is not a replacement for God and your own independent relationship with Him, but it's also not an act against the Lord. If anything it is a beautiful request that you are leaning on him to complete that blessing and to be present as you are trying to clear a home, clear negative energy, or even to ask for protection.

Much like a therapist may want you to lay in a chair or put your feet up and be comfortable, an advisor or intuitive reader may want you to sit in a particular position, or put your hands in a certain manner or touch their hands or touch deck of cards, these are things that you need to ask as well as question in advance to ensure that you feel a sense of privacy but also a sense of comfort in the middle of your session. We truly believe that sage has an incredible power and place in the psychic and spiritual community to clear the air and to bless space and to help in your meditation, affirmation, and even prayer practices, but it does not replace the intention behind it as well as the purpose for why you are trying to clear a space to begin with; and you can easily end up using far too much sage, and using it far too often!

You can easily end up becoming quite dependent on constantly saging a space with the hope of getting rid of whatever is lingering, but if you don't get rid of the source of it and you don't do it correctly the first several times, it is encouraged to look deeper beyond that.  You can absolutely over sage a home, to the point where you can choke yourself out so to speak from the smell of it and even get to a point where you are constantly burning it with the hope of protecting or creating a safe sanctuary, but actually creating more anxiety in the process.

If you find yourself constantly staging your home, a particular walkway or space, or even your sanctuary, you may need to look deeper beyond the veil, and figure out if there is something that is actually lingering in terms of energy or even an entity that is a problem, or if perhaps someone or something is bringing energy into this space consistently putting you in a position where you feel uncomfortable energetically.  You would also be encouraged to even look at how you are responding to the space, if you perhaps are bringing in a heightened energy that is actually manifesting feelings of uneasiness and in turn causing you to rely so much on sage.

Have you ever found yourself wondering what the purpose of sage is for a psychic medium, advisor or spiritual coach? Or wondering why they always seem to need to burn it?

Sage is a great way to clear the energy within your home or space, especially if you are conducting any sort of spiritual work throughout the day!

Many years back we had multiple maintenance workers, managers, a landlord and the landlord's assistant, and even a flooring company come into our home in a matter of hours, it was busy! To add injury to insult, we also had multiple amazon packages being dropped off at the same time, and it was bustling with energy to the extent where at the end of it all when we finally had a moment of quiet and peace, we all felt very on edge and very uncomfortable energetically.  Something just felt "off", we couldn't quite figure out what it was aside from the massive amount of energetic activity and people coming and going but also different items coming into our home that were touched by other people. This is not to say that they have bad energy but whatever they were going through throughout the day really just followed them and with that followed them into our home! This is why we encourage people when they are saging to do it after packages are delivered, after maintenance workers and those that are helping you come into your home, have left. This is again absolutely not a hit at anybody for their energy or  what they might be going through, or what they might be feeling, but it is such a strong force that can easily take over a space and can ruin a feeling of peace and a feeling of balance, especially if you don't know where it's coming from.

There is a tendency to really pick up and to bring on and to bring into your space a lot of energy from outside sources,  for example if you think about packages that are delivered, people who come in and out of your home or your work environment, or even people that happen to just be in passing who are coming into conduct work within your space -  they all carry energy that can very well end up sticking so to speak in your home or space. 

Taking a bit of time out from your day to pray over your home and space and with that utilizing sage, can allow you the opportunity to really clear the space and clear the energy, but also to revitalize that energy and come back to a place of balance.  It is important to know that burning sage is not the only method in terms of clearing the energy or air of a space that you feel may be  heavy from someone else's energy, you can definitely use incense and other scents to try to clear the space itself, but the intention behind the sage and really taking that time to smudge and to clear the air itself goes a long way.   

It is recommended that if the space is quite heavy with other individuals energy or something that's heavy that is causing you to feel uncomfortable, anxiety-ridden, or uneasy, that you definitely burn enough sage to create quite a bit of  smoke and with that going from corner to corner of the space itself, so think about all the nooks and crannies of the apartment, the home, the  office space, things of that nature. It is also encouraged that you definitely smudge more heavily around windows and doors, as that is an opening and in a sense a gateway for energy to come through.  We greatly encourage that if you are saging your home or office space that you are putting in the time to pray over what you are doing in the moment of, one of the things that we choose to do when we sage is to invite God and Jesus's presence into this space as we are saging.  

For example you can very well speak out loud and affirmation such as:

"Dear lord bless the space, protect those that come in and out, remove any negative energy, remove any harm, keep the space clean and clear,” or even “ Lord Jesus, we invite you into the space, please let your presence be known.” 

You can say these things or whatever feels right and in alignment with your desire to clear the space as you are walking around and saging.  It is important to know that in modern spirituality and with the way the psychic community has unfolded, it is firmly believed that doing this practice, specifically saging and smudging a space but also incorporating a different elements such as white feathers, and sea salt, is effective as it pertains to keeping negative energy out.  However, if you do not have any other means aside from sage, that is more than enough to change the energy of your space.  The beauty of it besides the smell and how compact is sage bunch is, is that you can sage actively throughout the day, you can even sage a particular person or element within your home or space that you find to be a little bit more heavier energetically, and you can even sage those fur babies that live within your home too, as they tend to pick up energy as well. 

As long as your intention as you are saging is positive and is coming from a position of trying to clear the air and to invite a higher presence in it, specifically Jesus, if not source, you are definitely in good hands!

June 20, 2024: "Take the burden of absolute trust off of those you have been relying on, and place it firmly onto the Lord and the creator of the Universe, as He is fighting your battles and can do far more than you or anyone else can do in their own strength. Placing your absolute trust in the wrong sources, people or circumstances, can be so shattering emotionally - don't do that to yourself." 

Today Spirit really pointed out how easy it is to place your trust in the wrong sources and how painful it is emotionally for those sources to let you down. The only safe and sincere space to place your absolute trust is within the lord and the creator of the universe, and today you are being encouraged to place that trust firmly on to Him, and to release any burden on someone else to be present for you in a way that they unfortunately cannot be.

The two cards that came up are faith and confusion. Today Spirit is encouraging you to take an honest look at where you have been placing your trust and if you have been relying on the wrong people and situations. You are being encouraged to place your absolute trust in the Lord as you take every needed step forward, but also for the heavier emotions you may have been carrying as well. 

You are being reminded that mistrusting these other sources with absolute trust is faulty as the foundation that they are on can easily be shaken apart. But even more important, trusting these sources with your absolute trust during difficult times is a clear lack of trust in the creator who is guiding you.
